The CRISAFE consortium gathered for the 12-month meeting in Gorizia, Italy, bringing together all partners to discuss project progress and next steps. Results of the flood infrastructure vulnerability assessment were presented, providing the basis to exchange ideas on future developments on risk scenarios and hazard visualization.
A synergy meeting with the IN4SAFETY project (Interreg Italy–Slovenia) led to shared insights, followed by joint participation in a large-scale emergency exercise at Gorizia airport, testing responses to complex cross-border hazards. This synergy meeting was featured in a dedicated article in the September edition of the magazine La Protezione Civile Italiana, which also provided an overview of the CRISAFE project, highlighting its key objectives and ongoing activities.
