CRISAFE Final Conference

  • by

The final conference of the CRISAFE project was held on 19th March 2026 in Split, Croatia. It featured two dedicated sessions: the first focused on synergies and civil protection relations, while the second presented the CRISAFE project results.

The conference was organized as a special session of the “Civil Protection and Urban Safety – SIGG 2026” conference, where key stakeholders and a diverse audience were present. The event brought together infrastructure managers, civil protection authorities, scientists, and practitioners.

The main targets of the final conference were to present the comprehensive results and lessons learned from the CRISAFE project, facilitate knowledge exchange among technical, scientific, and operational stakeholders, promote collaboration between different sectors involved in civil protection, and maximize the visibility and dissemination of project outcomes within the wider risk management and disaster preparedness community.

Integrating the CRISAFE session with SIGG 2026 proved highly beneficial, as it enabled broader knowledge exchange, strengthened cross-sector collaboration, and enhanced the visibility and impact of the project results.
